For those wishing to try snorkeling, explore the beautiful under water world and see the rare Weedy Seadragons in their natural habitat – this is the tour for you! Learn all about the marine life of Port Phillip Bay in a relaxed coastal setting with Bayplay’s professional  guides. Snorkelling is a fun activity for the family – even for non-swimmers!

Our Guides will direct you to beautiful Marine Life! 

Your tour begins with friendly and highly experienced guides demonstrating the basics of snorkelling covering; equipment usage & terminology, in-water communication, snorkel & free diving skills as well as information on the marine life you can expect to encounter. 

Then it’s a short walk to Portsea pier where you’ll encounter an array of mesmerising marine life including; soft corals, sponge life, Hermit Crabs, Puffer Fish, Star Gazers, Smooth Rays as well as the famous Weedy Seadragons. 

You’ll have access to a life ring during your tour for maximum safety and comfort.  This also combined with a buoyant wetsuit, enables non-competent swimmers to enjoy the experience.

(Children under 8 may need their own wetsuit. Please ask at time of booking).

Participant Conditions:

The minimum age for participants of this snorkel tour is 6 years. Families with younger children are catered for separately in a tailored tour. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
