Bike Hire - Self Guided Bike Adventure

Experience the unique historic Point Nepean National Park from your bike in a fun, engaging & healthy way. Located at the end of Point Nepean Road, where Bass Strait meets the Port Phillip Bay and the Mornington Peninsula ends. Point Nepean’s rich history has had a significant impact on Victoria and Australia in terms of immigration, quarantine and defence. 

Enjoy an adventure with friends or family while cycling along the stunning coastline of the most southern point of the Mornington Peninsula. Hiring a bike allows you to explore the secluded beaches & beautiful coastline of Point Nepean National Park & surrounds. 

Bike Collection:

You will pick up your bike from our Portsea office. You will be provided with a helmet and bike lock and you can take your time to enjoy the scenery at your own pace, stopping to see the sights along the way.

Duration:

2 - 3 hours is normally enough time to explore the park by bike. At the end of the ride, enjoy the open spaces at the Quarantine station for a picnic or to explore the area.

Hire Times:

9.30am - 1.00pm - to pre book outside of these times please contact our office on 5984 0888.

Inclusions:

1x Bike, 1x Helmet, 1x Bike lock, Download of Point Nepean National Park 

What to Bring/Wear:

You should bring a backpack for personal items – cameras, mobile phones, sunscreen, water, snacks etc. A hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothes for riding and closed heel shoes are essential.

Participant Conditions:

This is a Self Guided experience, there is no guide with you, so it is recommend that participants are confident on a bike. If you are not confident, we suggest you just explore the flat sections of the park up to Observation Point and the Quarantine Station.
